How To Really Know Someone – Volume 1
Hello, everyone! So after reading few blogs over my first month of being a blogger, I noticed that some of the blog pages I have visited have this stuff that is called, How To Really Know Someone. It is said that this came from a Tumblr post and generated multiple shares. I found the list of questions from Corinth as I read through her awesome answers to those questions. Finally, Richel who has well-thought answers told me that it isn’t bad to join the bandwagon which is cool, too. So I am doing this because the questions are truly interesting and I will use this so that my readers will at least know something about me. 🙂
How To Really Know Someone | Volume 01
1. How do you feel about birthdays?
Right now, I feel old when I think about birthdays. Birthdays are good to celebrate another year of existence. But I guess birthdays are best celebrated during childhood to build strong foundations within the family, and to make some joyful memories when you look back when you are old. Then birthdays in adulthood should be a privilege to be excused from work and just allow you to go outside and do whatever you want in life as a free being. But personally, I do not celebrate. I just acknowledge that it is my birthday and say thank you to those who remembered and treasure the gifts that I received. That’s it, no party at all, just being practical too.
2. Do you believe in fate?
I feel like this is a debated question. I do not believe in fate because, for me, things or events are results of your decisions that affect all things around you that only universe can handle. And it is not always in your favor, so decide carefully. If I am poor because of fate, then that’s really sad. No matter what I do, I cannot be rich because it is my fate to be poor.
3. What do you think when a band/artist “sells out”?
I think there’s a lot of reasons for this. First is your objective in life and what actions you take to reach that objective. There are artists who make music for art, passion, hobby, and they may not expect big bucks in return. But they are thankful enough to receive even a small amount. Of course, there are those who have dire needs of money and some of them will do anything for the sake of it. Whatever their reasons are, it is because they want or need something. And for me, I just ignore. No drama, that’s it.
4. What do you think of fans and fandoms?
I think every one of us is a fan of someone or something. So I don’t see anything wrong with that if you are a normal fan. But if you are a crazy fan, then you have to get away from me. Well, I mean it this way: Let’s say you are a fan of JaDine, then okay I get it. But please, do not bring up everything JaDine every 2 minutes when I am with you, to the point that you are making it a religion and you are a diehard devotee. Just to be clear, I am not a hater of JaDine.
5. Any specific personality traits you would like to see in your life partner?
Ideally, it’s my ‘gamer-goal’ to have a gamer wife because we will definitely get along together and would be a dream come true. We’ll have fun playing hardcore games and watching anime together. But seriously, as long as she is nice, kind, caring, and understanding, I am all good.
So is it okay to answer just 5 questions for now? I plan to answer 5 every week until I finish the list. You can join the fun and get to really know someone with these questions.
