Mila’s Tokwa’t Baboy

Mila’s Tokwa’t Baboy

This is actually a very late post because I accidentally deleted the photos on my camera. It took me a while to recover these photos. Since I already have them back, it’s time to share this popular food stop in Pampanga. If you’ve been following my blog, you’ve read about my Hot Air Balloon Fiesta experience that’s really not fun at all. And because it’s really not an absolute fun experience, I needed something to divert my attention to something that will make me happy in order to reduce some stress. So, good thing, we haven’t eaten yet. And we were told to try Mila’s Tokwa’t Baboy because a friend said that they serve the best sisig in Pampanga. So, I truly looked forward to it and here I’ll share my review. 🙂

Mila’s Tokwa’t Baboy

Mila’s Tokwa’t Baboy is located at Brgy. San Angelo, San Andres St, Angeles, Pampanga. Nowadays, it’s not that hard to locate a place if you know how to use Waze. When you get there, you’ll be surprise because it stands in a subdivision. So, basically, it is surrounded by neighboring houses. And there are a lot of customers dining in. Parking space could be difficult because it is not a commercial space. So, you’ll end up parking in front of a residential space.

Eatery For Everyone

Yes, it is an eatery for everyone. Because many people make sure to dine in whenever they are nearby. Even local celebrities have visited. The best thing, of course, is they serve the best tasting all day Filipino favorites. Very affordable and have huge a serving size.

Pinoy All Time Favorite

Us Pinoy’s truly love rice. That’s because we have a lot of foods that are a perfect combination with rice. That’s why we have unli rice in other restaurants because rice is everything. Who else can’t have a second cup of rice if the food is just so delicious, right?

Chicharon Bulaklak

A favorite pulutan that is also great with rice. As what you can expect, chicharon bulaklak is really yummy and theirs is really crispy and flavorful. Just be careful. Cholesterol attack!

Lechon Kawali

A staple option in most of the eateries and restaurants that serve pork dishes. This pork belly is boiled and deep-fried to perfection. Indeed, it is crispy and moist at the same time. Perfect with your rice and Mang Tomas.

Tocino Barbecue

This is actually unique and a first time for me. Tocino as we have known is a cured meat that is soft and sweet. But this time, it is grilled! It was really. You might love it. But, I am not a fan of tocino.

Special Sisig

Sisig is a specialty dish made of pig’s head and liver. This is the most delicious I’ve tasted so far and I truly enjoyed its crispiness. Bursting with yummy flavors without being too oily. Absolutely a must-try and one of the best out there.

Tokwa’t Baboy

One of their best-sellers too. Cut into small cubes, this tofu is fried to perfection, too! It’s actually a surprise to me when it tasted so good. Maintaining its crispiness outside and softness on the inside. Definitely a must-try too!

Final Words

I just cannot describe how full our tummies are. We are just happy after all the hardships we’ve been thru at the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta. The sisig is definitely the best so far and if I have the chance to go back, I will drop by again to have a great meal. Everyday is always full of customers, so, looking for seats may be difficult. But patience is a virtue because the food is all worth the wait! 🙂

Looks like a place to catch a heart attack, which we Filipinos love. Haha! I’m planning on heading to Baguio tomorrow. We’ve always wanted to stop over in Tarlac or Pampanga to eat. This looks interesting and we might try dropping by.

Exactly what I am echoing as I write this blog. A place for a heart attack! But they really serve yummy meals. This is good if you know how to moderate your ‘pampabata’ meals! 🙂
